I understand what you are saying, but I don't see what impact your paragraph 
has on the point I was making?

Perhaps I should have worded the middle paragraph above slightly 
differently, but my intention was it to mean:

"The first time I access the database [definition (1)] then, for as long as 
the database is directly accessible, am I not being granted a right to 
continue to access it under the terms existing when I first accessed it?"

All I can deduce from your point, is that when the ODbL is read in 
conjunction with a document that is currently being worked on, than the 
meaning of the ODbL might be clearer.

Please understand I'm not trying to be difficult, I'm just trying to 
understand what it is I am being asked to vote on in under 3 weeks from now.
