(I am not a lawyer, this is not legal advice.)

The new licence is incompatible with the old. BY-SA 2.0 data cannot be 
placed under it without the rightsholder agreeing to relicence.

But the new licence is more compatible with other licences (including 
the old) where you want to produce "mash ups" and other works that 
combine data from more than one source.
