You keep going on about how other people are mischaracterising things and
you go and do the same thing.

Considering most users don't contribute, or contribute very little, this
isn't a very useful metric, also they didn't have much choice in the matter
if they wanted to fix up a small spelling mistake in name of their street.

Beyond that, even if they did have a choice between licenses they may not
completely understand the ramifications of their choices.

I was concerned before seeing this thread and now I'm slightly horrified, I
can only confirm what Kai has said in that my only input into the process
will be agreeing to ODBL or not, and at this stage I won't be agreeing to
relicense under ODBL, not because I disagree with the new license but the
process to get there. Unless the process of getting there is separated from
the license I'm guessing others will do the same thing.
