Hi Fred,

It is generally *not* recommended to start your mapping experience with a
large scale import, but rather start small, with manual edits, so that you
get a better understanding of how we work first.

Some hard rules regarding automatically adding data to OSM are outlined
here: https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Import/Guidelines

I'd also recommend getting in touch with the NL community, who are active
on Matrix <https://app.element.io/#/room/#osm-nederland:matrix.org>and Telegram
<https://t.me/osm_nl>.
