Good day.  I amlooking for a little guidance before I end up making matters worse.  Late last year I ended up learning how tocreate a map.  I was able to create fourpaths for the Charlestown (Rhode Island) Conservation Commission.  They have me making maps and placing signs andGeocaches.

I created a maps/paths for anumber of preserves:

A ‘Francis Carter Spur’ 41.4476, -71.6576

‘Richard Trail’ 41.4035, -71.6433

‘Charlestown Moraine’ 41.3846, -71.6654

‘Patricia Sprague’ 41.4519, -71.656. …

I did get a number of “path is notconnected” error messages, and my paths were in sections – not continuous. Acouple of days after each map was uploaded, OSM began to show the trails, regardlessof the “errors”.  Eventually they wereall showing on your website.

Someone recently told me that theerror could be because ‘tags’ were not the same for the different sections.  I edited the tags at Patricia Sprague - - Nowthe map/paths are gone.  Although thepaths are still there for me to edit (if I wish), they are no longer availableto view up on your website or through geocaching software.

Your guidance would be greatlyappreciated.  Can you tell me how I ‘broke’this and how to fix it.

Thanks

Ken
