[Mailman] New health-promoting intervention: patient information in 22 languages useable wordwide

Dear website owner,

 

Our organisation would like to draw your attention to an health-promoting intervention for non-native speakers. From now on it is possible to worldwide provide patient information in 22 languages via one digital platform for healthcare providers.

The platform is of Dutch origin, but as it has also included the English language (+21 other languages) in its platform, healthcare professionals with a free account worldwide can use this platform. Once a non-native speaker has been to the general practitioner, hospital or midwife, information can now be given home with, for example, lifestyle advice or calling instructions for emergency scenarios.

  
The Dutch Ministry of Health is already aware of this intervention. Next to that, it is also of great importance that as many healthcare professionals worldwide as possible are made aware of the possibility of being able to provide information to non-native speakers in 22 languages from now on. 

 

Since your blogs contribute to more publicity, we hope that you will contribute to better care for non-native speakers by raising awareness of the platform by placing the link www.voorlichtingvertaald.nl on your website.
