Hi ,
Our company, KACHO Solutions, is a registered Technology Solutions company
based in Sierra Leone, West Africa. We have been contracted by Institute
for Governance Reform Sierra Leone to create a crowdsourcing platform for
one of their projects in Sierra Leone, Unifiers Sierra Leone for which we
intend to become members of the openstreetmap community. Unifiers SL has a
network of volunteers across Sierra Leone that are collecting data on
various metrics to show their work on promoting awareness of national
cohesion, peace and unity. We wish to use the resources of openstreetmap
for our work and to be legally registered with openstreetmaps.
The Institute for Governance Reform (IGR), www.igrsl.org , is an
independent, multi-disciplinary, policy-oriented research team. They have
experience of working within governments, among donors and civil society
ensures their partners and client’s access to quality data, timely, rich
analysis and excellent onsite training and workshops. www.igrsl.org
Unifiers SL, www.unifiers.sl , is a Citizens network they have embarked
that focuses on building cohesion and national unity, non partisan and
non-aligned. We use digital technology tools and grassroots mobilisation to
promote national cohesion and harmony. This movement seeks to use Digital
technology to bring together citizens by contributing little resources to
support its work as an initiative being led and driven by Sierra Leoneans
to promote peace and unity.
Do let me know how we can use the resources in openstreetmaps for the
purposes described above and to be a legal entity of openstreetmap.
Best Regards,
Charles Hubbard
