To be honest I would love to see the mantra of "release early,
release often" followed and have a release instead of a release
candidate.

Even without yahoo maps merkaartor 0.11 is a huge improvement over 0.0.10
in day to day-mapping usage and it would be a shame to "hide" it from
conservative users for much longer.
