I think you misunderstood. If I want to see what has changed between 0.11
and the current 0.11-fixes I have to find out what revision the 0.11
release was based on. Having a 

merkaartor-tags/0.11 

tag/branch would make that easier. And as tags/branches are basically
free in subversion those tags don't eat up any resources.
