Yep that was it!  Working now!

I would agree that either removing the check box or making it checked by default would make sense.

You have to activate the 0.6 API manually:

Tools -> Preferences -> Data -> [x] Use 0.6 API (only takes effect after
                                      program restart!).

We should probably remove that box altogether in the next release as 0.6
is now the production API.
