[Merkaartor] Landsat in Merkaartor

Ahh, I think I've found the error. I think that Merkaartor asks the 
Server for 256x256 pixel Tiles. If I ask the server about 256x256 pixel 
Tiles he'll bring me an xml instead of a jpeg. So Merkaartor can nothing 
display. The lowest resolution where I get images is 258x258. Here is 
just an example of an request:
http://wms.jpl.nasa.gov/wms.cgi?request=GetMap&layers=global_mosaic&srs=EPSG:4326&styles=&format=image/jpeg&bbox=6.7,45.8,6.9,46&width=258&height=258

So where can I increase the resolution of tiles? It should be somewhere 
in the source, but I don't know how to program in C++.
