Sure. I just somewhat overlooked that when migrating  to 0.6 (or was it a
late addition?).

For playing it safe, I'll probably ask the full URL up  to "version" with a
4 servers history, and with the current system as a fallback when only a
hostname is given.

On a side note, as this request is obviously linked to the license change,
I'm not a fan of the ODbL myself, so I'll be supportive of specific needs
any fork/implementation might have.
