I won't be releasing a portable version (I didn't even know it existed) for now,
but if there is demand for it, I'll look into it.

You can install Merkaartor on a flash drive and have a crude portable version,
but your settings will still be stored locally.

Btw. I don't remember any code that would differentiate portable version, so
perhaps it was a simple copy of what gets installed?
