Dear folks,
I'm on the quest of the perfect free solution to get GPX tracks for
OSM'ing my town. I use a Holux GPS with a smartphone (Nokia E61).
I was using GPS Track before, but it annoys me that it doesn't do an
auto save to a local file, and that it gets data at minimium 2 sec
interval.
Then I tried Mobile Trail Explorer, which is a bit buggy, but much
more smoother (it does the saving to a local file automatically, but
takes longer to save stuff).
But my results with Mobile Trail Explorer were very inconsistent when
I compared them with GPS Track.
It seems that the numbers on GPS Track were much more realistic than
those from Mobile Trail:
Take a look:

While GPS Track has very different numbers after the dots, Mobile
Track repeats a lot, looking like it interpolates stuff.
Is my way of thinking right? Should I stick with GPS Track then?
Cheers,
Francis
