[OSM-newbies] waypoints, notes and tracks

I short trip turned into an entire day of data collection when I took
a different road back home.

I have about 180 waypoints with handwritten notes to go with my
tracks. What I would like to do is to get the waypoints onto JOSM
and then type my notes on each waypoint. This way there's a guide
on the screen as I, or someone else, makes the ways.
