Look into your xml file for an <bound> tag near the top. If it isn't
there, you get no rectangles. ;-)

Older JOSM version (older than josm-1.5) did not write the bound tag, as
do other editors (it's an illeg^H^H^H^H^Hspecial JOSM feature ;)
