[OSM-newbies] selecting the download area in JOSM

The easier way is to view the area on either openstreetmap.org or from 
informationfreeway.org, then copy the 'permalink' URL (on the main osm 
site the 'view' link at the top is the one you want, and on 
informationfreeway.org theres a link at the bottom). Then in JOSM paste 
what you copied into the URL field on the download popup.
