[OSM-newbies] How to delet old traces and to open OSM with a certain location

I've already uploaded some GPS traces. When I've edited all roads I 
always deleted the actual trace.
Now I've uploaded another one and was surprised that all my old traces 
are displyed in the potlatch and JOSM editors again. When I request all 
my traces only the last one is listed. How can I delet the ones which I 
don't need anymore? Is there a way to get a complet list of traces 
uploaded by someone or with a specific tag?

The other question: Is it possible to open OSM via a location parameter 
so I don't to have to search everytime for the region or town I live?
