[OSM-newbies] Coastlines, again.....

Hi, Where do the coastlines come from ?

What I mean is, who uploads them ?

I have been editing the coastline around Manila and noticed that there are 2 types, the nice Almien coastline, and the low res. SRTM coastline.

I would like to change all the coastline to the Almien coastline, so how is this done ?
