That's as may be. I don't see a whole lot of use in retorting  
point-for-point: you clearly don't think I have answered your points  
and I don't think you've understood mine, whether wilfully or otherwise.

I reiterate that this is, however, highly off-topic for newbies.  
Newbies is a forum for asking "how", not "why". You are proposing that  
the standard method of surveying for OSM is not valid and that is not  
a matter which is appropriate for such a forum.
