[OSM-newbies] Tagging areas

Hi all,

Been mapping for a while now, but i have not been able to tag area and
regions. A look at my location will confirm that

all roads no label (the streets are named though).

Questions:

1) How to i tag cities, towns, regions and open fields like
golf-course,stadiums etc.

2) There seems to be an error in the rendering of the tiles (2085
1972) some of the highways rendered as primary roads do not exist and
needs to be removes. I have tried downloading the area into JOSM for
editing, but it does not have any data in it.

I have included the tile with the incorrect areas marked in black.

Any help or suggestions will be appriciated.
