[OSM-newbies] AND data & OSM India

Hey folks,

I moved to Pune (India) a couple months ago. I'll be here for at least a
year, and a number of my coworkers are interested in playing around with
GPS. I figured OSM would be a practical outlet for that curiosity.

Does anyone know if the AND data for India [1] has been added to OSM yet? If
not, is anyone familiar with the granularity of such data? If we start
mapping major streets in Pune, I'd like to avoid duplicating effort.
