[OSM-newbies] Data layer doesn't look like track shape

I can't find any way of setting the tracklog interval. I was told that the
recent models do use a 1 second interval, but I can't confirm that. If it
doesn't I've wasted my money, as that would make it no better than the one I
can borrow :-(
In the morning I'll find the paperwork and tell you what model it actually is.
