The main thing about postcode data, as with any other data, is that it
must have been collected by you. If you know a given street's postcode,
then by all means add it (and get a GPS fix and add that to
FreeThePostcode) but don't take a load of postcodes from your SatNav and
add them!

There is a postal_code tag, which I've started using for postcodes - this
could obviously be useful for SatNavs and the like. The difficulty I find
is that I'm never sure if an entire street has the same postcode - some
have different postcodes for different sections. That's not an issue for
FreeThePostcode [1], since it stores the postcode for a specific location.
