[OSM-newbies] Detect WAAS/EGNOS mode

I have a similar question. I've read that if you are in certain areas
that having thw WAAS switch turned on can actually decrease
accuracy in some areas. Is this true? How can I tell if my
accuracy is being enhanced or not?
