You also need to setup hcid.conf, rfcomm.conf, and establish RF
communication.

Issue commands something like following after installing required packages:

hcitool dev
hcitool scan
edit /etc/bluetooth/pin to enter 0000
hcitool scan
rfcomm connect 0 00:0A:3A:27:62:96

gpsd -N /dev/rfcomm0
