[OSM-newbies] Itoworld OSM Mapper watch pages/lists

I have been using Itoworld OSM Mapper lately and find it a useful aid.

Can someone explain Watch Pages and Lists, please?  I would imagine they offer a facility to be advised of changes to areas that I have selected.  Is this different to subscribing to RSS Feeds, which I have already done?
