[OSM-newbies] JOSM slippymap plugin - Error requesting tile update

I can confirm that I'm getting the same error on windows and linux. The 
'show tile status' fails as well.
I suspect the cause is the recent changes to the tah server and the way 
a tile render is requested.

I can only suggest you raise a ticket over at 
http://josm.openstreetmap.de/ to get it looked at.

In the mean time if you want to get a tile rendered I would suggest 
using one of the following urls to browse to zoom 12 and request the 
tile you want be rendered.
