[OSM-newbies] Uploading GIS data to OSM?

1. Make sure that the data source licence is compatible with submitting 
it to OSM
2. Use GPSBabel ( http://www.gpsbabel.org ) to convert the data to GPX.
3. Open it in JOSM ( http://josm.openstreetmap.de ), check that 
everything is okay and finally...
4. upload it to OSM database
