[OSM-newbies] How to map a place that allows to cross a waterway=stream

I'd also suggest: If there is no facility helping you to cross the
river like a ford or bridge then just share a node and perhaps tag him
with a note that there is no structure to cross the stream. Perhaps
add a width-tag that anyone can see how wide the gap is between the
two banks.

btw: How would you call something like this in English?:

I think tagging this kind of crossing might be useful if we map trails
of the general hiking paths...
