Good luck making your National Park show up. It is my understanding
that if you would like to have your National Park show up at a
national scale (or even at anything larger than being able to see much
more than a couple miles around), then you're going to have to render
your own tiles.

I traced out Elk Island National Park, a small park near Edmonton, AB
which only shows up to zoom level 10. I was going to add the larger
National Parks in Alberta, namely Wood Buffalo, Jasper, Banff, and
Waterton, but you'd only be able to know that they existed if you were
zoomed in so close that you'd only see a green background, or happened
along the border of the park.

Here's a permalink to Elk Island National Park, with the Cooking Lake
- Blackfoot Grazing Reserve along it's southern border.

Have a fiddle around with the zoom levels here to see what the
rendering shows up like.

According to the gurus, we're supposed to map stuff with no regard for
what the renderers do, but it's hard to get excited about putting
hundreds of hours of work into creating something that you can't see
on the map...
