[OSM-newbies] active mappers

Looking on the wiki for the project page of the country is a good start 
if you have not already - 
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/index.php/Mapping_projects.

Another way to get a bit of an idea as to who is working in a particular 
area is to open Josm on the area in question, use the select tool to 
select everything on the screen and look in the authors list.
For example, if I do that where I live I get :
Author        Objects    %
kmf           3012      81
rcr            689      18
wunni            2       0

Obviously does not give you any idea of date or even mean they live 
nearby but maybe a starting point.
