[OSM-newbies] Realigning ways or parts of ways in JOSM

If I have the following situation:

Ways:         A  B1  C   B2
                   )--(---

How can I realign B1 without affecting the curvature of A and C, because as soon as I delete the node at the coincidence of A/B1, for example, the shape of A changes and I no longer know the location of that node to reinstate it?

I do hope that is clear.
