Hi

I'll be honest, I am not 100% what you meant by "restoring your zone".

But, I would strongly recommend using JOSM, if you do, then you do not have
to wait for your GPS traces to be uploaded, as this can be imported directly
in to JOSM.

JOSM is by far the better system to use if you are able to.
