Hi
We are working around with osmarender to create maps of particular
locations and use them in our application.
However we are encountering a few problems in the following areas.
1) We have a fixed lat lon value which we use to download a data.osm( where
the lat lon value is kept the centre of the bbox by adding and subtracting
equal degrees to decide the W, S , E and N edges of the bbox). Thus we
expect an image to be rendered where the centre of the image corresponds to
the fixed lat lon value. However this doesn't seem to be the case as the map
is rendered in some corner of the image. Can anyone help us to know how we
could possibly know where the fixed lat lon value is on the png image, since
its not at the centre.
In short we need a reference point on the rendered png where we could start
mapping latitude longitude values to pixels.
And also whether the problem lies in the bbox values specified by us or the
rules file since the remaining part of the image is blank i.e nothing is
rendered.
2) Also the osm-map-features-z12.xml<http://svn.openstreetmap.org/applications/rendering/osmarender6/osm-map-features-z12.xml>rule
files is not rendering captions on the map.
Any kind of help regarding this would be really appreciated.
Regards,
Soniya
