I have no idea about Trust cameras. But I would guess that something
like exiftran might rewrite the tags if that is the problem that you
have. Or maybe you need to talk to Rob Neild, the author of the geotag
josm plugin. Presumably a missing seconds tag should default to 0. Even
if the recorded clock resolution on the Trust is only 1 minute, I would
think that you should still be able to load: whether the images are
still useful is another matter: I guess it all depends on whether you
are on foot on in an aircraft:-)
