[OSM-newbies] How to map a square surrounded by streets

Hi,

Today I wanted to add an area http://www.openstreetmap.org/index.html?mlat=47.41001779754698&mlon=15.269535817282746&zoom=16

The Area should be located in that rectangle formed by the streets named Koloman-Wallisch-Platz.

What's the right way to do this, use the existing streets and create a relation (If yes, how?), or shall I add new paths?
