[OSM-newbies] landuse=residential. Building=yes

Hi,
I mark residential areas (even those containing shops) as key:landuse
value:residential. If it is a building, would you recommend to add
key:building value:yes , or should I just let it be landuse=residential?
So far I've added most of the residential areas without building=yes.
