[OSM-newbies] Does the "cycle map" ever update?

I've made a few edits to the openstreetmap database (using JOSM and the 
on-line editor) all of which have now rendered on the Mapnik and 
Osmarender views.  The Cycle Map one doesn't seem to update, and I can't 
find anything about it in the wiki.  Is it supposed to update, or is it 
kept separate, and if so do I have to do something extra to push changes 
through to it?  The changes I have been making relate to local 
bridlepaths, so would be relevant to the target audience for the cycle map.

Thanks in advance.  This is my first attempt to contribute to the OSM 
(and my first post here) so if the answer is blindingly obvious, my 
apologies.
