[OSM-newbies] Bay Area mapping parties and events

Dear All,

We have a great turnout at our last couple of mapping parties in the  
Bay Area and I would like to keep the momentum going! Our next event  
will be in Berkeley on Feb 28 and March 1. All the details can be

Mapping parties are a great place to meet new and experienced OSM  
users, ask questions and get a chance to head out and map with a GPS  
unit. Feel free to send me questions and suggestions for this event  
(as well as future events).

We have also started a mapping/open source focused happy hour (right  
now just in the Bay Area--but please contact me if you would like to
