[OSM-newbies] OSM -> Garmin

Thanks Paul for the tips.

The problem when I try this method is that after splitting the osm file,
I have three osm files which I try to run through mkgmap. Two of them
succeed but one of them still claims I need to split further:

SEVERE (BlockManager): overflowed directory with max block 202, current=203
There is not enough room in a single garmin map for all the input data
   The .osm file should be split into smaller pieces first.

But even if I try to split this file again using splitter.jar I only get
one file as output -- apparently it's already small enough according to
splitter.jar but not mkgmap.
