...and to set the bridge's / tunnel's name / ref you could use a
relation to describe the bridge / tunnel and set the name / ref on the
relation:

Olav,

 

For Osmarender you can use osmarender:renderRef=no, but be aware that
this is really a fudge - it shouldn't need to be explicitly "fixed" in
the data.

Hi,


When tagging/naming small roads and/or bridges, tunnels etc.. I feel
that there somtimes are excessive referrence numbers, and/or naming of
roads. 

 

I don't want to remove tags/names from roads...

 

Also, how to tag bridge/tunnel names if the road name is different?
