That’s exactly the tag you need. You’ll find it buried in the restrictions part of the Map Features page on the wiki. Tag as “maxweight=7.5” (units are expected to be tonnes).

Hi
I am trying to tag a road that is signed max weight 7.5 te (the old definition of heavy goods vehicle = HGV in the UK). All I can find are tags for goods= vs hgv= (with a cut-off of 3.5 te, which I think is a relatively new EU limit). Is there a more open-ended tagging option that I have missed? Something like maxweight= ?
