Sounds like a plan.

I regularly get people in our village that are trying to find a house,
and because the houses around here are all named most GPS units can't
search for them so they are reliant on the post code but sometimes
that is of no use because the house they want is about 1/4 or so from
any other houses.

If I can help in cutting some of the issues down then that may help. I
might print a OSM on A3 and put it on the Parish notice board so
others can see it.
