[OSM-newbies] OSM and qualitative research around the world

Steve,
Shouldn't this be forwarded to someone at the OSM Foundation?
It would seem to be useful to have a sense of where OSM work
is being done and where it is needed. However, there also may be
political sensitivities involved.
