[OSM-newbies] Bridges over canals - ref=**

The way that I identify the reference for bridges, as opposed to highways /
waterways, is to use a bridge relation and put the ref on there instead. It
then makes it unambiguous what the ref applies to. The same is true for
named bridges that are carrying a highway, etc. of a different name.
