[OSM-newbies] Interpolation of House Numbers

for house no (supposed to be) 61 t0 70 with increment of one, using:

http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Proposed_features/House_numbers/Karlsruhe_Schema#Using_interpolation_to_mark_many_houses_along_a_way

I could not give three reference number of nodes in JOSM as well as
Potlatch, it keeps only one. Must be doing in wrong way. Please help
me.
