I believe solutions that are dependant on the direction of the way (other
than with one way roads), due to the confusion that can be caused by having
some one accidentally reverse the ways (at least I'm sure I've seen that
brought up many many times in the past regarding things like parking on
either side of the street, etc).
Not that I can think of a better way of doing it....
