no problem Thomas, I should be able to muddle my way through the German.

The type of way I mean though is back roads which are designed for
cars but you can cycle all day and see two pick-ups a tractor and 25
motorcycles. There's thousands of miles of these roads in Thailand
that are fantastic for cycling (and many go between the same places as
thundering eight-lane highways but in greater peace.)

They're not strictly cycleways but the problem with all mapping here
for cyclists is they're not really covered anywhere on printed maps -
although Yahoo and Google have them with mapped.

The other thing I have - and being lazy here - is hundreds and
hundreds of miles of irrigation canals, about 5-10m wide, with a paved
tarmac road on one side and a dirt track on the other - a very
familiar of the rice growing areas here. Is there a way to save a
preset so I can draw these in one go. As it is I have to draw tarmac,
road, canal and dirt road as three separate ways. These systems really
work together, so would be great if I only had to draw it once.

The dirt road of this system is kinda like a tow-path on an English
canal if that helps
