I've not used relations much, partly because I don't really understand
them. I'm trying to improve my understanding of them, and use them
where appropriate, which is one reason why I looked at the possibility
of using one here.
The fence was mapped carefully, and in the end I created a new way,
re-using the nodes that made up the fence, so the playground border
exactly follows the fence for that part where there is a fence. One
disadvantage of doing it this way is that where there is fence, there
are two ways exactly on top of each other, and it could make it
difficult to select the one you want when editing in future. I suppose
that's an issue for the editors to deal with, though.
